Thank you for your interest! In order to achieve the mission and serve House families well, we rely heavily on volunteers to be dependable AND consistent. Our goal is to match house needs with your interests so that the volunteer experience is a rewarding and fulfilling one. The introduction meeting runs from 6-7:00 PM. We are located at: 5130 40th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98105 and we ask that you park on the street or in our parking garage underneath the building.
Here’s how to get started.
- Use the form below to sign-up for an Introduction to Volunteering meeting.
- After the meeting, if you are interested in available volunteer opportunities we will invite you to complete our online application. The application will include instructions on obtaining reference checks.
- After your application is accepted, an interview will be scheduled to assess interests, House needs and shift availability. Interviews will be scheduled based on House volunteer needs. Volunteers will be placed as soon as possible in the requested positions that have openings.
- Initial orientation and training may need to take place on a shift other than the assigned shift. Formal training will occur over several weeks, however, we believe training and learning to be continuous.
