RMHC Hockey Challenge: Summer Breakaways Edition

Hockey Challenge is growing to include Summer Breakaways! The event will take place at Sno King Ice Arena Kirkland and will continue to have breakaways and upgrades, but add various skills stations both on and off the ice.
The Breakaway Challenge began in 2016 when a long-time Hockey Challenge captain decided to take on a dare – suit up in goalie gear for the first time. Folks donated for a chance to light the goalie up and anyone who scored on the new goalie got a chance to score on a more experienced goalie. For every goal scored, the goalies would donate even more money to the House. Since its inception, the Breakaway Challenge has expanded to include new goalies each year from around the local hockey community, and has raised over $42,000 to support families staying at the House.
